Investing well
shouldn't require
being rich.
Why we're building Axis.
Investing is split into two tiers. On one end: generic ETFs and robo-advisors that treat everyone like an interchangeable account number. On the other: private wealth management — real strategies, real advisors, real attention — gated behind $250K minimums. Everyday people are stuck in the middle with nothing built for them.
We don't think access to a professionally managed strategy should depend on how much money you already have. The same kind of investing the wealthy take for granted should be available to anyone.
Credit unions are how we deliver on that — not because we set out to fix credit unions, but because 144.7 million Americans already trust them. Credit unions also need a modern investing product to keep members from leaving for fintech apps. The mission is democratizing access to real investing; credit unions are the vehicle, not the reason we started.
That belief led to Axis as it exists today: licensed RIAs publish real strategies, Axis's replication engine mirrors them automatically into member accounts, and credit unions distribute it under their own brand — so professional investing is something anyone can access through an institution they already use.
